Strawberry Shortcake

So today was actually a pretty awesome day. Gord and I went out to spend the day together and that was so much fun since it was both of our days off. We went downtown and we picked the perfect time since there was a Farmer's Market going on, and we went to take a look at some of the stuff they had on sale. We ended up getting some super fresh strawberries since they looked so delicious! And they sure are better than they look!

The main reason why I wanted the strawberries was for some strawberry shortcake since i've been wanted strawberry shortcake for god knows how long! So I sugared and lemoned the strawberries and let them sit in the fridge for 2 hours so that they get their own juices and made the whip cream and fanned strawberry. :D And I mean, this thing was devoured in minutes it was so yummy!!! But i'm limiting myself to one though I have the stuff to make 6 of them.
